Gretchen Leavy

Gretchen Leavy is the Managing Director of Operations at KIPP Memphis. Gretchen has been with the company since 2011, and in their current role, they oversee all aspects of operations for the school. Prior to joining KIPP Memphis, Gretchen was a Sixth Grade Math Teacher at Cordova Middle School in Memphis City Schools. Gretchen also served as an Instructional Coach at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Middle School. Gretchen began their teaching career in 1995 as a Math Teacher at Cordova Middle School. Gretchen has been with Memphis City Schools since 2008.

Gretchen Leavy has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Capella University in Education Management, an Ed.S from Union University in Curriculum and Supervision, a Master of Arts from Union University in Instruction and Curriculum, and a BS from LeMoyne-Owen College in Liberial Arts with an Endorsement in Education.

Gretchen Leavy reports to Antonio Burt, CEO. Gretchen Leavy works with Marian Kelley - Director of Special Populations, Muna Olaniyi - Chief Academic Officer, and Jackie Ward - Office Manager, Executive Assistant.
