Tommy Williams, Jr. is an experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education. Currently serving as the Lead Kindergarten Teacher and GLC at KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools since January 2016, Tommy has also held various teaching positions including First Grade Teacher and Instructional Coach. Prior roles include serving as a Founding Kindergarten Teacher and Pre Kindergarten Teacher in Atlanta Public Schools and Dekalb County Schools. Tommy's expertise encompasses best practices in explicit instruction, classroom management, data-driven lesson planning, and scholar success monitoring. Tommy holds a Certificate in Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Infant and Child Development from Fort Valley State University.
