Brittney Springstun has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they worked as an Art Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they prepared crafts for summer camp and led groups of campers. Brittney also worked as an Enrollment Assistant at Indiana University Bloomington during the same year.

In 2019, they joined Teach For America as a Teacher, and simultaneously worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Matchbook Learning until 2021.

From 2018 to 2019, they were a Site Leader at ProAct Indy, where they led a small group of fifth graders in learning about local communities and participated in service projects. Brittney also worked as a Site Aide at Monroe County Community School Corporation during this time.

From 2021 to 2023, they worked at the Indiana Department of Education, first as a Summer Fellow, then as a School Improvement Specialist, and later as a Charter School Specialist.

In 2023, they joined KIPP Nashville Public Schools as a Director of Operations in Residence.

Brittney Springstun completed their Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies at Indiana University Bloomington in 2019. Brittney then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Marian University Indianapolis from 2019 to 2021.
