Rachel Mattison

Rachel Mattison is a seasoned education professional with a robust background in K-12 assessment and experiential learning. Currently serving as Senior Director of the Transformation Team at KIPP Foundation since October 2025, Rachel previously held multiple leadership roles at Uncommon Schools, including Director of Experiential Learning and Director of Operations. Prior experience includes a tenure at ETS as Assessment Specialist II, where responsibilities entailed managing client relationships and driving strategic initiatives. Rachel started her career at the NYC Department of Education as an ESL Teacher and later worked as a consultant at KM English Consulting. Rachel holds an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from Columbia University, an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a B.A. in Linguistics from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude.
