Associate Director Of Development at KIPP SoCal Public Schools

Kaitlyn Hennessy has a diverse work experience in education and development. Kaitlyn began their career as an English and Social Studies Teacher at KIPP Central City Academy in 2011 through Teach For America. Kaitlyn served as a TFA Corps Member until 2013. In 2016, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for a Graduate Economics Course at the University of Southern California - Sol Price School of Public Policy. The following year, they joined the City Scholars® Foundation as an Interim Fellowship Director and Graduate Executive Intern. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Development Graduate Intern at the University of Southern California. In 2017, they joined KIPP SoCal Public Schools as a Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager. Eventually, they were promoted to the position of Associate Director of Development. Their employment dates for this role are ongoing.

Kaitlyn Hennessy pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Wake Forest University, which they completed between 2007 and 2011. Later, in 2016 and 2017, they attended the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, where they obtained a Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management degree, focusing on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
