Megan Latimore began their work experience in 2007 as an Instructor at The MAD Factory, where they taught improv, puppeteering, and film making to children. Megan also assisted in developing their performance art skills, creativity, and teamwork. In 2008, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks. From 2009 to 2011, they volunteered as a Student Volunteer at CATSS, a community organization focused on saving strays. In 2013, they served as a Corps Member at Jumpstart. In 2014, they became a Substitute Teacher at Chicago Public Schools. In 2015, they worked as a Student Teacher at Goethe Elementary. From 2016 to 2019, they held multiple roles at ReGeneration Schools, including Team Lead and Teacher. Since 2019, they have been working as an English Teacher at KIPP SoCal Public Schools.
Megan Latimore has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from DePaul University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies at Oberlin College, from 2006 to 2011. In addition, Megan obtained a Professional Educator License from the Illinois State Board of Education in June 2015.
