Siro Perez

Siro Perez began their career in 2015 when they co-founded and served as CEO of MW Diagnostics, a company that developed personalised diagnostics for the digital age. In the same year, they also co-founded and served as CEO of Enlight Medical, an international digital creative agency. In 2018, Enlight Medical was acquired by Omega Insights Sarl. In 2019, Perez became a Director at Kira Biotech Pty Ltd and Inosi Therapeutics Pty Ltd, where they also served as Chair. In 2020, they became a Director at Alimetry, a company that developed next-generation technology for gastric disorders, and a Board Observer at Augmented Bionics, a company that developed a non-surgical bionic ear. In 2021, Perez became a Director at Ankere Therapeutics, an Australian biotech company, and a Director (Chair) at Jetra Therapeutics, a preclinical biotechnology company. Siro also continued their role as Partner & Head of Life Sciences, APAC at IP Group plc, a leader in the commercialisation of scientific innovation.

Siro Perez attended London Business School from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Masters in Finance specializing in Investments. In 2020, they completed the GAICD - Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. From 1999 to 2004, they earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Additionally, they obtained an Eng. in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. between 2002 and 2004. Finally, they earned an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid between 1994 and 1999.
