Rita Scanlon

Rita Scanlon has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of operations, IT, engineering, and professional services. Rita currently holds the position of Vice President Operations, IT, Engineering & Professional Services at Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation since 2022. Before that, they worked at Jacobs as the Senior Director of Federal Civil Programs from 2021 to 2022, where they played a crucial role in portfolio restructuring, introducing new capabilities, and developing growth strategies. Prior to Jacobs, Rita had a long career at Northrop Grumman, where they held various roles such as Federal Services Solutions Operating Unit Director, Department Manager, and GSBU East Coast Engineering Manager. Rita'sresponsibilities involved overseeing multimillion-dollar portfolios, driving value propositions, and restructuring to prioritize high-end business. Rita also worked at TASC and Unisys in the early years of their career.

Rita Scanlon pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1984 to 1989, they attended Auburn University and obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) degree. Later, from 1994 to 1997, they enrolled in George Mason University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Systems Engineering.
