Alan Butterly

Test Engineer at Kirby Group Engineering

Alan Butterly started their work experience in 2018 as an Energy Compliance Officer (ECO) at Google Data Centre, where they conducted audits on electrical contractors. This role required a thorough understanding of equipment rating and characteristics. In 2020, they joined Kirby Group Engineering as a Test Engineer, where they tested mains and branch cables in a data center. Their role at Kirby also involved a thorough understanding of equipment rating and the purpose and operation of installations.

Alan Butterly attended St Joseph's in Rush, Co Dublin from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. Alan then went on to study at FAS from 2000 to 2005, earning a Certificate in Electrician License. In 2006, they completed a Certificate program at Gas logic, focusing on Electrical studies. In 2013, Alan obtained a Certificate in Electricial from Peer Veet. Alan further expanded their education in 2017 by attending DDLETB Training Centre Baldoyle, where they pursued Electrical testing and verification of electrical installations, earning a degree in Electrical. Later in the same year, they completed a Certificate in Electrical test and verification at Trade Skills fo.
