Electrical Commissioning Lead at Kirby Group Engineering

Craig Higgins has a work history primarily in the electrical engineering field. Craig started their career as an Electrician at Kirby Group Engineering Limited in 2005 and worked there until 2010. In 2012, they joined WGS Whelan Group Services Ltd as an Electrician for a brief period before returning to Kirby Group Engineering. At Kirby Group Engineering, they initially worked as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer from 2012 to 2019 and then transitioned to the role of Electrical Commissioning Lead in September 2019.

Craig Higgins has a diverse education history. In 2015, they pursued a degree in SFS6000 - Low voltage electrical installations from the Finnish Standards Association. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they attended the Institute of Technology, Carlow, where they obtained a Certificate in Process Control & Instrumentation. In the same year, they also completed a Certificate in Health Safety & Environmental Management from the same institution. Earlier, between 2010 and 2012, they studied at Technological University Dublin, earning a BSc in Sustainable and Electrical Control Technology. Craig'seducation journey began at Technological University Dublin from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a National Craft Certificate from the FETAC program, specializing in Electrical studies. Craig completed their secondary education at CBS Secondary school Naas from 2000 to 2005. Most recently, in 2016, they expanded their skill set by gaining an Internal Auditor (IRCA 2179) certification in Audits from EIQA.
