James also worked at Liebherr Container Cranes Ltd. as an Electrical Engineer from October 2007 to December 2018. James has experience as an Electrical Engineer at Finsa Forest Products Ltd. from January 2007 to September 2007. James started their career as an Electronic Technician at Flextronics Semiconductor in August 2006. Additionally, they worked as an Electrician at Finsecure from January 2002 to May 2003. James began their career as an Electrical Apprentice at Richard Egan Electrical in January 2001 and later worked as an Electrical Apprentice at James Houlihan Electrical from October 1997 to December 2000.

James L. has a diverse education history in the field of engineering. In 1998, they attended the Limerick Institute of Technology and completed a QQI Level 6 degree in Electrician. Following this, from 2003 to 2006, James pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same institute.

More recently, in 2020, James enrolled at Munster Technological University and completed a Postgraduate Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2021.
