Pat Curran

Pat Curran has over 25 years of work experience in various mechanical and pipefitting roles. Pat currently works as a Mechanical Site Manager at Kirby Group Engineering since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Supervisor at Mercury from November 2020 to June 2023. Before joining Mercury, Pat worked as an offshore pipefitter for BMD & Co Ltd from January 2020 to October 2020. Pat also held similar roles as an offshore pipefitter at WorleyParsons from January 2017 to March 2020, Amec Foster Wheeler from May 2016 to July 2017, and Wood Group PSN from July 2013 to September 2013. Pat has also been self-employed as a Pipefitter/Heating Engineer from September 2001 to June 2013. Pat started their career as a Pipefitter/Welder at H.A O Neill Mechanical Engineering Co. from 1999 to 2001 and at MIPS from 1997 to 1999. Pat's early experience includes working as a Pipefitter/Foreman at Johan Collins Mechanical Services Ltd. from 1995 to 1997.

Pat Curran's education history includes a variety of fields and degrees. They attended Mechanical Engineering at TU Dublin - Bolton St., but the specific start and end years are unknown. In 1996, they studied at Bolten Street College in Dublin and obtained a National crafts plumbing certificate, specializing in Plumbing Technology/Plumber. In 2013, they attended AFS Technoligies and completed the ECITB SBT01 + SBT02 program, focusing on Small Bore Tubing. Lastly, between 1989 and 1995, they attended Carrick Vocational for their secondary education, without obtaining a specific degree.
