Matthew Broomhead

Matthew Broomhead has extensive experience in quality management and training across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Quality Manager for Marine Transportation at Kirby Corporation since October 2001, Broomhead has progressively taken on responsibilities in safety, quality, and regulatory environments, including acting as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and aiding in the implementation of ABS-certified Safety Management Systems. Prior experience includes a role as Learning & Development Specialist at Recreational Equipment, Inc, where Broomhead designed and executed training programs to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity, as well as a position as Training & Development Consultant at Learning Point, Inc, collaborating with a Fortune 500 company on management development sessions and revenue-generating training programs. Broomhead holds a Master of Science in Management Communication from the University of Portland, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Boise State University, and an Associate of Arts in Interpersonal Communication from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
