Søren Thorup Sørensen

Søren Thorup Sørensen is Chief Executive Officer of KIRKBI A/S. He has been a Member of the Board of LEGO A/S since 2010 and currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board as well as Chairman of the audit committee.

In addition to his role within the LEGO A/S Board of Directors, Søren is also a member of the Board of Directors for several other entities, including Merlin Entertainments Limited, Landis + Gyr AG, Ole Kirk’s Fond, Koldingvej 2 Billund A/S, Boston Holding A/S (where he is Chairman of the Board), ISS World Services A/S, and six fully-owned subsidiaries of KIRKBI A/S. He is also Chairman of the audit committee of Merlin Entertainments Limited.

Søren joined KIRKBI A/S as CEO in 2010. Prior to this role, he has held positions as Group CFO of A.P. Møller Maersk Group (from 2006 to 2009) and as a Partner at KPMG (from 1987 to 2006).

He holds an M.Sc. Accounting and Audit and is a State Authorized Public Accountant.
