James Clark

James Clark is currently a Partner and Head of Construction at Kirkland & Ellis since October 2023. Prior to this role, James served as a Partner and Senior Associate at King & Spalding from April 2021 to September 2023, and as a Senior Associate focused on Construction and Projects at Clifford Chance from February 2018 to April 2021. James began a career in law as a Solicitor specializing in Construction and Projects at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2010 to February 2018. Educationally, James holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honors and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Economics and Finance from the University of Melbourne, alongside an International Baccalaureate from St. Peter's College (Adelaide) and an educational background at the United World College in Singapore.
