Nina Palattella

Nina Palattella is an Editorial Assistant at Kirkus Reviews. Nina previously worked as an intern at Penguin Random House, where they revised online copy for backlist products, conducted and compiled research into current and potential authors that can be used as reference for future projects, and researched potential writers for upcoming projects. Nina also served as Vice President of Sigma Tau Delta from May 2019 to May 2020, where they assisted the president with planning meetings and organizing fundraisers and special events. In addition, they served as a Poetry Reader for Gordon Square Review from August 2021 to December 2021, where they read poetry submissions as part of a team to select pieces for publication in the Review's forthcoming ninth issue. Nina has also worked as a Social Media Editor for MAYDAY Magazine (remote) from April 2021 to January 2022, and as an Office Assistant for The Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Pennsylvania from July 2020 to May 2021.

Nina Palattella has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from Kent State University. Nina also has certification from Lynda.com in Google Forms Essential Training.
