Frankie Katafias

Frankie Katafias is a weather forecaster currently working at KIRO 7. Prior to this, Frankie worked as a Morning Weather Anchor at Idaho News 6, where they also served as a Weekend Weather Anchor, Multimedia Journalist, and Traffic Anchor. With experience in reporting, production, and sports coverage at various companies including City of Lakewood, CA- CityTV, KUSI Television, Cox Communications, and more, Frankie has a background in communication, media studies, and meteorology. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Dominican University of California and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
