POSITION SUMMARY
In pursuit of excellence, we eagerly invite a motivated and creative Sr. Research Associate to join our Research and Development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your existing expertise in bioanalytical ligand binding assays (e.g. ELISA, ECL detection, Quanterix) to support critical and high-visibility in-vivo studies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience by being involved with additional analytical development and support activities utilizing HPLC, electrophoresis, and spectroscopic techniques.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide bioanalytical support to critical in-vivo studies. Independently troubleshoot and propose assay changes/improvements to ligand binding assays where appropriate.
  • Develop phase-appropriate analytical assays to support pre-clinical process and formulation development activities. 
  • Help to coordinate sample shipping/ receiving and manage internal stability studies in support of pre-clinical process and formulation development activities.
  • Provide additional analytical support to process development and formulation studies as needed.
  • Summarize data and key findings for presentation to peers and management at periodic group meetings.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related field with 2-4+ years of biotech/pharma industry experience.
  • Previous experience and a high level of competence with ligand binding assays, specifically ELISA techniques.
  • Open to learning new analytical techniques including but not limited to HPLC, SEC-MALS, CE-SDS, iCIEF, DLS, and SPR. Prior experience with one or more of these techniques is a plus, but not required.
