Jody Clayton

Jody Clayton, NCC has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jody began their career as a Residence Coordinator/Graduate Assistant at UNC Charlotte in 2004. Jody then worked as an Online Marketing Coordinator at Replacements, Ltd. from 2000 to 2004. From 2010 to 2013, Jody served as a Program Coordinator at NCCJ. Jody later joined Personal Care Inc. as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing from 2013 to 2014. In 2011, Jody became a Member of the Board of Directors at Guilford Green Foundation, where they provided strategic leadership and raised funds for the foundation until 2016. From 2014 to 2017, they held the role of Director of Business Development at Kisco Senior Living and, concurrently in 2014, became the Director of Business Development at Heritage Greens until 2017. In 2017, they took on the position of Executive Director at Drake Terrace until 2020. Jody then worked as a Business Consultant as a self-employed contractor from 2020 to 2021. Jody also served as a Residency Counselor at WhiteStone: A Masonic & Eastern Star Community from 2020 to 2021. Overall, Jody Clayton has demonstrated expertise in various fields including marketing, program coordination, and strategic leadership.

Jody Clayton, NCC, obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1995 to 1999. Jody also holds additional certifications including being a National Certified Counselor since 2007, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate since 2013, Home Care Certified since 2014, and SalesMail Certified (obtained in 2024).
