Christina Drake

Founder and CEO at Kismet Technologies

Christina Drake has diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Christina is currently the Founder and CEO of Kismet Technologies, where they focus on developing innovative material technologies to mitigate pathogen spread through nanotechnology. Christina has made significant breakthroughs with their patent-pending nanoRAD technology.

Drake is also a member of the UCF College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean's Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida.

In addition, they served as an Editorial Board Member for the Industrial Biotechnology Research Journal from 2009 to 2020.

Drake previously worked at Florida Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering. Christina also held the role of Chair of the Faculty Assembly and Trustee from 2015 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Drake worked as a Research Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2007 to 2014.

Christina Drake completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Christina then pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida, attending from 2005 to 2007.
