Siyong Sung

Siyong Sung has extensive work experience in design and product development. They started their career as a Sr. Industrial Designer at Ancona 2, Inc. in 1997, where they were a part of a dedicated team responsible for product development. At Ancona 2, Inc., Siyong managed design strategies, provided input for new product development proposals, and generated product design concepts using various tools. In 2002, Siyong joined Kiss Products as a Design Director. They then went on to become a Founding Partner at Dflex, where they led a team of problem solvers, researchers, and artists to create innovative products and experiences for clients. Their role at Dflex included transforming constraints into opportunities, bridging the gap between innovative ideas and engineering challenges, and providing storytelling and brand language for clients. Siyong's role at Dflex lasted for ten years, from 2002 to 2012.

Siyong Sung completed a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design from 1992 to 1996. Following that, from 1996 to 1998, Siyong attended Pratt Institute and obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Design.
