Charles Yan Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of game development and programming. Charles started their career as a Unity Developer at Jéan-Sébastien Guathier, where they worked on Ourglass, an interactive installation at the 2019 Nuit Blanche. Charles then moved on to Concordia University, where they worked as a Tools Programmer and Unity Developer on a VR adaptation of the documentary "I AM THE BLUES" and provided technical assistance for a VR adaptation of "I AM BLUES."

Afterwards, Charles joined Budge Studios as a Gameplay Programmer, contributing to the development of the popular mobile game Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures. Charles was part of a multidisciplinary team, optimizing tools, improving asset integration workflows, and fixing bugs.

Following their time at Budge Studios, Charles worked as a Unity Consultant, XR Developer, and AR & Fullstack Developer at Mythologi. Charles developed an AR storytelling and exhibition creation app, utilizing various technologies such as AR integration, custom input and placement systems, UI development, database management, maps integration, and geofencing.

Charles also gained experience as a Programmer at Studios iLLOGIKA, where they worked on programming projects, and as a Teacher at Rubika Montréal, designing and teaching a course on tooling in game development within Unity.

Charles'smost recent position is as a Programmer at Kitfox Games, where they started in 2022.

Charles Yan Miller obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computation Arts from Concordia University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021.
