Michelle Schenck has extensive experience in project management and investment within the social enterprise sector, currently serving as Senior Grant Project Manager and Senior Investment Manager for Social Enterprises at Kiva since September 2013. Prior roles at Kiva included Labs Partnerships Manager and Portfolio Manager for Africa. Michelle's earlier career includes positions such as Development Assistant at the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters and Operations & Compliance Administrator at Nakoma Capital Management LLC. Academic contributions include lecturing and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by research coordinator roles and fellowships focusing on Swahili and African studies. Michelle earned a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed an M.S. in Geography.
