Diana Africano Clark

Diana Africano Clark has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Diana is currently the Head of UX & Design at Kivra since September 2020. Prior to that, Diana worked as a Mentor at the Swedish Red Cross Rödakorshuset, where they focused on diversity and inclusion to support adults and children in vulnerable situations.

Diana also served as an Industry Advisor at Umeå Institute of Design and held the role of Interaction Designer & Researcher from June 2002 to June 2007. In addition, Diana has worked as a Head of Design at their own freelance company, Diana Africano Clark, Freelance, from November 2019 to January 2020.

Diana has extensive experience in the design field, having worked as a Vice President Design & Partner at Veryday, a VP Design and Expert Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company - McKinsey Design, Veryday Studio, and as a Head of User Experience and Design at Grace Health.

Furthermore, they have contributed their expertise as a Member of the Board and UX Advisor for Kodcentrum, a non-profit organization that introduces children to programming and digital creation. Diana has also served as a Guest Researcher at the Mads Clausen Institute for Product Innovation, University of Southern Denmark, and worked as an Industrial Designer at the Instituto Europeo de Innovación.

Diana Africano Clark completed their education in various institutions. Diana began their educational journey at the Universidad de Los Andes, where they studied Industrial Design from 1996 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design at IED Madrid from 1998 to 2000. Finally, Diana obtained a Master of Arts degree in Interaction Design from Umeå Institute of Design between the years 2000 and 2002.
