Erik Lignell has diverse work experience in the HR and recruitment field. Erik is currently the Head of HR at Kivra Sweden, where they lead the HR and People function for a distributed workforce. Prior to this, Erik held roles such as HR Manager and HR Business Partner at Kivra, where they were responsible for managing HR functions and overseeing talent acquisition. Before joining Kivra, Erik worked as an Employer Branding Specialist at Stora Enso, where they developed and implemented employer branding strategies. Erik also worked at Valtech Sweden as a People & Culture specialist, focusing on recruitment, employer branding, and internal branding. Earlier in their career, Erik worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Serendipity Professionals and Uptrail, gaining experience in tech recruitment. Erik also had an internship at Kornboden - rekrytering & bemanning, where they gained valuable skills in recruitment processes. Additionally, Erik served in the Swedish Armed Forces for 12 months, where they developed teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Erik Lignell first pursued their education at Södertörn University in 2009, where they focused on the field of Rhetorics. Afterwards, they attended Mid Sweden University from 2012 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In 2013 to 2014, they continued their studies at Metropolitan University Prague, focusing on International Relations & Political Science. In the future, they plan to pursue studies at FEI Företagsekonomiska Institutet, specializing in Affärsdriven HR, as evidenced by their enrollment in 2023.
