Tom Williams

Tom Williams is a seasoned professional specializing in sustainable finance and climate change risk management, currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Finance at Kiwibank since July 2019. With a robust background that includes roles as Sustainability Manager and Advisor, Tom focuses on environmental, social, and financial sustainability, particularly in the context of climate-related risks and opportunities. Previous experience encompasses positions at Pitt & Moore Lawyers and Notaries Public, Perkins+Will, and the Ministry for the Environment, where Tom engaged in emissions trading compliance, climate policy analysis, and project management. Tom holds dual degrees in Law and Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington, and further studies in natural resources from UC San Diego.
