Yu Liu

Yu Liu has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Starting as a Software QA Intern at Adobe in 2009, they later worked as a Software Test Specialist at IBM, where they were responsible for functional testing on various platforms and also led a project focused on REST API automation testing. Following their time at IBM, Yu Liu joined iPayroll as a Software Tester, where they set up a test framework and focused on automation testing. They then moved on to Catalyst IT Limited as a Senior Automation Test Analyst, where they were responsible for automation testing across web applications, web services, mobile, and performance testing. Yu Liu then worked at Verifone as a Senior Test Analyst, contributing to various projects, including performance improvement and automation testing. Finally, they joined Kiwibank as a Lead Engineer, responsible for middleware, Biztalk, and integration testing. Additionally, Yu Liu was a Committee Member at the Chinese IT Association NZ.

Yu Liu has a Master's degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, which was obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, Yu Liu earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Heilongjiang Institute of Technology, completing the program from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Yu Liu has obtained several certifications, including "Leadership Mindsets" and "Leadership Tips, Tactics and Advice" from LinkedIn in August 2021, as well as the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in May 2020.
