Roberto Interiano

Roberto Interiano has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Roberto began their career in 1992 as a Regional Investment Officer at the IFC - International Finance Corporation. From there, they moved on to work for the Government of El Salvador, where they held the position of Under Secretary of State/Vice Minister. During their time there, they led various initiatives including the free trade agreement with the US and the partnership agreement with the EU, attracting significant foreign investment.

In 1999, Roberto joined Américo Móvil/CTE-Telecom as a Member of the Board of Directors. Here, they oversaw business expansion, investments, strategy, and corporate governance decisions for the largest telecom company in El Salvador and one of the largest in Central America.

Roberto then transitioned to Ernst & Young - Corporate Finance, where they served as a Regional Partner. In this role, they led corporate finance, M&A, and capital raising engagements for leading clients in the Central America and Panama region. Roberto also significantly increased the client portfolio through effective market penetration strategies.

In 2005, Roberto joined Dell Computers as a Senior Manager/Strategic Hire. Roberto led operative best practices and innovative initiatives, including leading a cross-functional international team that enabled Dell to provide tech support and customer service in Spanish to the US Hispanic segment. Their contributions had a financial impact of over $2 million (six sigma validated).

From 2008 to 2014, Roberto served as the Managing Partner - STS Latin America at STS Capital Partners. Following this, they gained experience at companies such as Kiwibot as part of the Finance, Corporate Development & Scale-up Operations team, and at Holberton School as a Partner.

Their most recent positions include Partner at T4 Fund, starting in 2019, and Managing Partner at Portals Capital Group. As Managing Partner, Roberto oversees all aspects of the business, while as a Partner, they contribute to overall growth and strategic decision-making.
