Dr. Florian Leser

Dr. Florian Leser has a diverse work experience spanning various industries including healthcare, future mobility, insurance, and IT. Currently, they are the Head of Data Analytics & AI at KKH Kaufmännische Krankenkasse where they lead a team of over 50 experts in utilizing data to create innovative products. Prior to this, Dr. Leser worked as a Fellow - Cluster Lead Future of Mobility and City Design at Zukunft-Fabrik.2050. Dr. Florian also held the position of Head of Data at ADAC, where they oversaw data operations from 2019 to 2023. Earlier in their career, Dr. Leser worked in internet agencies like ERGO Group AG and ITERGO, where they gained experience in internet mobile, application development systems, and customer portals. Dr. Florian also worked in corporate strategy at ERGO Versicherungsgruppe AG and IT strategy at ITERGO. Furthermore, Dr. Leser has a research background, having served as a Visiting Researcher at SAP and a Research Assistant at the Institute of Information Management, University of St.Gallen.

Dr. Florian Leser has an extensive educational background. Dr. Florian earned their Dr. oec. (Doctorate in Business Engineering) degree from the University of St.Gallen, where they studied from 1999 to 2006. In 2023, they obtained a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Dr. Leser also spent time as a Visiting Researcher at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2002 to 2003, specializing in Operations, Information, and Technology. Before that, they completed their Dipl. Wi.-Ing. (Diploma in Business Engineering) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they studied from 1994 to 1999.
