Alexandra Schmutterer

Alexandra Schmutterer has a diverse work experience, primarily in sales and marketing roles. Alexandra is currently the Head of Sales & Marketing at KKL Luzern, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Active Hotel Director and Director of Sales & Marketing at Hotel Schloss Mittersill from October 2020 to October 2021. From 2014 to 2020, they served as the Managing Director at Saakalya. Alexandra also has experience as the Director Sales & Marketing and Deputy General Manager at Puri Ganesha Homes by the Beach in 2019. Before that, they were the Director Marketing Communications at Pan Pacific Singapore from July 2011 to February 2014. Alexandra has a background in communications, having worked at Siemens Pte Ltd from 2000 to 2011, holding various roles including Regional Communication Manager, MarCom Manager, Commercial Bid and Project Manager Nigeria, and Product Line Manager. Alexandra started their career as a Management Assistant Sales/Marketing at NMB StreetTV AG in 1999 and worked as a Sales Manager at Future Electronics from 1997 to 1998.

Alexandra Schmutterer obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing, International Trade, and Risk Theory from Universität Passau in the period of 1990 to 1997. Alexandra also pursued a short program in Marketing at Eastern Washington University in 1995. In 2004 to 2005, they earned a Diploma in Event Management from IST-Hochschule für Management. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including Hospitality Management from Cornell University, Strategic Leadership and Management Specialization from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Hotel Management: Distribution, Revenue and Demand Management from ESSEC Business School. In addition to their business qualifications, they are also a certified Yoga Therapist and Yoga Instructor, having completed training at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana.
