Robert Mitchell

Robert Mitchell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience as a Partner at K&L Gates since January 1986, where Robert also chairs the Pro Bono Committee. In addition to this role, Robert serves as the Pacific Northwest Administrative Partner and is a Board Member of the University of North Dakota Alumni Association & Foundation, actively participating in the Governance and Audit Committees since July 2012. Previously, Robert was a member of the Board of Directors at Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest from June 2005 to May 2014 and served as a law clerk for Hon. Myron H. Bright at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit from 1979 to 1980. Robert's academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School and a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Merton College, Oxford, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government and Sociology from the University of North Dakota.
