Kia Beaty

Kia Beaty has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2007 when they were an Elementary Teacher at Goose Creek Intermediate School District, Travis Elementary. In 2018, they began working at Crossfit Bay Area as an Owner/ Health Coach, and also began working at Skylab Fitness as a Co-Owner. At the same time, they started working as a Nutrition Coach at Focused+Fit Nutrition. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Klara as a Senior Business Development Representative and was promoted to Business Development Manager. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated an aptitude for teaching, training staff, development of behavioral improvement plans, use of multiple teaching methods, completion of home visits, and leadership of after school clubs. Additionally, they have achieved excellent results in developing client-tailored coaching, exercising a genuine passion for nutrition.

Kia Beaty's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Michigan-Flint from 2003 to 2006, a Nutrition Coaching Certification from the Nutritional Coaching Institute (NCI) in 2019, a Health Coach Certification (and Continuous Professional Development) from ACE Fitness in 2018, and a High School Diploma from Lake Fenton High School in 2001. Additionally, Kia has obtained seven certifications from LinkedIn in the areas of Selling to the C-Suite, Selling with Authenticity, Business Development Foundations, Cold Calling: The First Seven Seconds, Sales: Handling Objections, Selling into Industries: Healthcare, and Selling with Empathy during Uncertain Times.
