Margaret Majorack

Margaret Majorack is the Director, Managed Services at KlarisIP, devising and coordinating the workflows between the on shore and off shore components of Rights and clearances solutions.

Margaret’s career began at CTV News in Canada, managing the news archives for CTV Network. She has worked extensively in the operational management of film and video archives and current program supply chains for the Museum of Broadcast Communications (Chicago), National Geographic, Discovery Communications, and Univision. She has also been responsible for operationalizing the monetization of archival elements, managing stock footage sales for Discovery as well as consulting for Media Recall Deluxe with clients like Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Austin City Limits. Margaret has organized the workflows for the transfer of physical assets to digital form and the coordination of moving legacy metadata into the digital environment for major broadcasters like Discovery Communications.
