Kevin Whyte

Kevin Whyte has a strong background in the energy and utilities industry. Kevin currently holds the position of Vice President Substations at Spatial Business Systems (SBS), where they started in 2024. Prior to joining SBS, Kevin worked at NOVEC for nearly a decade, starting as an Engineer in 2010 and eventually becoming the Director of System Engineering in 2019. Kevin also served as the Distribution Engineering Manager at NOVEC from 2015 to 2019. Before NOVEC, Kevin worked as an Engineering Supervisor at Talquin Electric Cooperative, Inc from 2013 to 2015, and as an Engineer at the same company from 2010 to 2013. Kevin began their career as a Distribution Planning & Performance Intern at Consumers Energy in 2008. Overall, Kevin has a diverse range of experience in engineering and management roles within the energy and utilities sector.

Kevin Whyte completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Western Michigan University from 2005 to 2010. From 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Florida.
