Steven Gockley, MBA, MCSA has over 30 years of work experience across various industries. Steven is currently working at KLAS Research as the Sr. Director of Software Engineering. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Data Engineering at the same company. Steven also worked as a Senior Data Engineer at KLAS Research.

Before joining KLAS Research, Steven served as the Database Manager at Boostability, where they were responsible for managing the data environment and conducting data analysis. Steven worked with various database systems including Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise, Amazon Aurora Postgres, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Great Plains and AWS services.

Prior to Boostability, Steven worked at Stampin' Up!, where they held multiple roles including ERP Applications Manager, Financial and Support Applications Manager, Project Manager, and Business Analyst. At Stampin' Up!, they managed supply chain applications, developed the Stampin' Up! Data Warehouse, and oversaw compensation plans for multiple countries.

Before Stampin' Up!, Steven worked at Peak Software as a Consultant, where they managed software development life cycle, database design, and client relations. Additionally, they served as a Software Developer at Marathon Business Systems and as a Software Engineer at Franklin Covey.

Steven's career began in the United States Navy as a Damage Controlman 2nd Class.

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects.

Steven Gockley, MBA, MCSA, began their education journey by earning a Diploma from Emery County High School from 1988 to 1991. Steven then went on to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from Utah Valley University, completing it from 1999 to 2003. Steven furthered their education by attending the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, where they obtained an MBA in Business/Information Systems from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Steven also holds multiple certifications in the field of technology. In 2014, they obtained the MCSA: SQL Server 2012 certification from Microsoft. Steven also earned the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification in January 2014.
