Angela Aaron

Angela Aaron is currently serving as a corporate officer and the Director of Compliance for KlearNow, a technology startup looking to disrupt a portion of global supply chain.

She has dedicated her entire professional career to the global trade and customs industry, first developing and managing a free trade agreement compliance program for an importer before joining the managed services arm of JPMorgan Chase Vastera as an analyst, and most recently spending 11 years with KPMG providing strategic consulting services to the world's largest importers and exporters.

She has assisted many large multi-national organizations with all aspects of their trade compliance needs including but not limited to classification, valuation and country of origin matters, audit readiness/defense, partner government agency requirements, global expansion into additional import/export markets, mergers and acquisitions, cost savings programs, trade war navigation, and global trade management software implementation and optimization.

A licensed US customs broker and Accredited Zone Specialist, Angela is also currently serving as Programs Director for WIT-NC. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Kettering University. She loves to travel and is an active volunteer, mentor, and philanthropist.
