Ed Valentin

Ed Valentin is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in information technology and education. Currently serving as an Independent IT Consultant and IT Instructor since September 2015, Ed specializes in teaching various computer-related subjects to senior citizens, creating effective lesson plans and materials. As a Senior POS Analyst at Caché, Inc. since 2004, Ed has played a crucial role in the deployment of new POS systems and the successful migration from dial-up to broadband services. Previously, as the Director of IT at Brooks Brothers from 1992 to 2002, Ed managed a complex LAN/WAN infrastructure and Unix administration. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Management Information Systems from Brooklyn College.
