Prior to this role, Simon served as Market Manager for the Automotive business at OneSteel from 2000 to 2007, after holding senior positions at BHP, and was involved in the joint venture with Smorgon Steel. Simon's academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Melbourne, along with education from Melbourne Grammar School and Oundle School.
