James Huang

James Huang is a seasoned executive in the venture capital and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Founding Partner at Panacea Venture since January 2018 and Managing Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers China since July 2011. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board at Ceptaris Therapeutics from April 2009 to June 2011, Managing Partner at Vivo Ventures from September 2007 to May 2011, and President of Anesiva Inc. from September 2005 to August 2007. Additionally, James held senior positions at Corgentech, Tularik Inc., and SmithKline Beecham, where responsibilities ranged from business development to product management.
