Luel Emishaw

Luel Emishaw is a highly experienced geologist with a diverse background in geology and geophysics. Currently serving as a Project Geologist/Geophysicist and Staff Geologist at Kleinfelder since September 2021, Luel specializes in geology and near-surface geophysics. Additionally, Luel has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Northern Oklahoma College since January 2021. Previous roles include Exploration Geologist at Map Exploration Inc. where tasks involved subsurface mapping and oil and gas target generation, and various teaching and research positions at Oklahoma State University from 2014 to 2020, covering multiple geology lab courses. Early professional experience includes a role as a Junior Exploration Geologist at Thani Maqsam, focusing on gold exploration and geological mapping. Luel holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Addis Ababa University.
