Scott Hillman is the SVP and General Counsel at Kleinfelder. Prior to joining Kleinfelder, they were the General Counsel at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services from July 2017 to February 2022. Before that, they were the Vice-President, Region Chief Counsel - Design & Consulting Services (Gulf / Southwest Region) at AECOM from January 2015 to June 2017.

At AECOM, Scott managed a team of attorneys, paralegals and contract managers providing legal and contracting support to over two thousand employees in nine states. Scott was responsible for the negotiation of complex engineering and construction contracts and other commercial agreements throughout the region. Scott also directed and managed outside counsel in the handling of complex, high-dollar claims and litigation ensuring the prompt and cost-effective resolution of disputes. Furthermore, they served as a key member of regional management team responsible for reviewing and approving high-risk pursuits and advising internal clients on legal and business risks, compliance, ethics, insurance, procurement, real estate, intellectual property, environmental, health and safety (EH&S), and employment matters.

Scott Hillman is a well-respected attorney with extensive experience in the engineering and construction industry. Scott is a trusted advisor to their clients and is known for their ability to resolve complex legal issues.

Scott Hillman received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University. Scott then went on to receive a Master of Science in Business from The Johns Hopkins University. Finally, they received their Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore.
