Phuoc Do is a Teaching Assistant for CICS 210 - Data Structures at the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, UMass Amherst, starting in September 2024. Phuoc Do also serves as a Research Assistant at WSSLab since May 2024 and previously held the role of Undergraduate Course Assistant for CS389 - Introduction to Machine Learning at the same institution from February to May 2024. In the summer of 2023, Phuoc Do interned at The Feinstein Institutes as a Deep Learning Research Intern, where 3D FDG-PET images from Alzheimer’s Disease patients were pre-processed, and a CNN model for 3D imaging was developed, achieving a 17% improvement in accuracy over traditional machine learning methods. Phuoc Do holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (August 2020 - May 2024) and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution (September 2024 - May 2025).
