Adrian Wyss

Lead Innovation Engineer at Klöckner Pentaplast

Adrian Wyss has extensive work experience in various fields. Adrian began their career as a Laboratory Chemist at the University of Bern, where they gained comprehensive knowledge in chemistry and biochemistry. Adrian then joined the Swiss Armed Forces as an NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) NCO, where they served for twelve years. Following that, Adrian worked at Klöckner Pentaplast as an R&D Engineer Innovation Pharma, focusing on global development projects and product concepts. Adrian later assumed the role of Lead Innovation Engineer at the same company, leading cross-divisional project teams, optimizing production methods, and implementing new products. Adrian's expertise also extends to laboratory chemistry and R&D, as demonstrated during their time as a Laboratory Chemist at the University of Bern.

Adrian Wyss has a diverse education background. Adrian began their education journey in 2005 with an apprenticeship in Chemistry, specializing as a chemical lab technician at the University of Bern. Adrian further pursued their academic aspirations at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry in 2013.

Adrian then focused on enhancing their professional and leadership skills by pursuing multiple certificate programs at Berner Fachhochschule BFH. In 2021, they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) program in Business Management. Following this, in 2022, they undertook a CAS program in Project Management and another in Advanced Leadership. Recently, in 2023, they earned a CAS in Communication.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Adrian also obtained a Six Sigma + Lean Green Belt certification from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität e.V. in 2015.
