Steffen Kast has a diverse work experience in various industries. Steffen started their career in 2001 as a Key Account Manager at Der Standard, where they worked until 2004. Steffen then joined Mondi Group in 2006 and held multiple roles, including Business Analyst, Senior Project & Integration Manager, Continuous Improvement Area Black Belt, BU Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager, and Operations Director. In 2015, they moved to Wipak as the Group Operations & Supply Chain Director. Currently, they are the Vice President Operations Food Packaging at Klöckner Pentaplast, a position they have held since December 2019.

Steffen Kast holds a Master (Mag.) of International Business Administration degree from the University of Vienna and Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. Steffen also obtained a Master of International Business Studies degree from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 2003 to 2005, and another Master of International Business Studies degree from éklore-ed School of Management from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, Steffen Kast has a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Mondi Group.
