Harold Augenstein

VP & Head of LA Theatrical at KMR

Harold was born in Brooklyn. He attended The University of Florida and after college owned and operated The Insomnia Coffee Bar in Gainesville where poetry readings and live music was the norm. There, the entertainment bug bit him. While attending Western State College of Law and working for companies like Rhino Records, the path ahead of him became clear; he wanted to represent performing artists. Upon graduating from law school, Harold answered a Hollywood Reporter want ad and became an assistant at David Shapira and Associates. After ten months he was promoted and worked as a TV/Film agent there for over five years. He left DSA for Peter Strain and Associates, and after a little more than a year moved on to Abrams Artists Agency. Ten years at Abrams and almost seventeen years as an agent later (although no one can tell by looking at him), he is honored to follow his former associate and agency president Mark Measures to become head of the Los Angeles theatrical department at Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin and Associates. Harold has put numerous clients as series regulars on such hit shows as Breaking Bad, NCIS, Ugly Betty, Community, and many more.
