David Umbertone

David Umbertone is an experienced Operations Manager at Knapheide, leading multiple departments to exceed customer quality and delivery expectations while achieving financial goals since May 2016. Prior to this role, David served at Orbital ATK for thirteen years in various senior leadership positions, including managing over 60 production employees and driving continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices. David's strong foundation in technical skills and leadership was established during service in the US Army as a 63Bravo HUMVEE Technician, where responsibilities included supervising maintenance operations and providing technical guidance to soldiers. David holds education from Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods.
