Klaus Hausharter has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Klaus began their career at SPRINGER Maschinenfabrik AG, where they completed an apprenticeship as an Industrial Electrician and Machine Fitter. Klaus then worked in engineering, specifically in design and cost accounting, before transitioning to ANDRITZ AG. At ANDRITZ AG, Klaus held various roles, including Engineering and Project Management, Project and Sales Management, and eventually became Sales Director and Application Manager. Currently, Klaus is employed at KNAPP AG, where they have held roles such as Lead Sales Manager, Senior Account Executive for China and Australia, and their current position as Head of Sales for North America, Asia, and Australia within the Business Unit Healthcare.

Klaus Hausharter's education history begins in 2002 when they completed their Matura in Mechanical Engineering at HTL Klagenfurt (School for higher technical education for employed people). Klaus then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Automatisierungstechnik/Techniker at Fachhochschule Campus02 from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they participated in an International Automation and Information Technology Seminar at Technological University Dublin. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Klaus obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Automatisierungstechnik und Wirtschaft from Fachhochschule Campus02. Continuing their educational journey, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in International "General MBA" at California Lutheran University from 2015 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Klaus Hausharter has earned the Controller's Diplom from CA Akademie AG in March 2013. Klaus also completed the Leadership Development program called Andritz Global Leadership Development Program at Malik in 2011; however, the specific completion month is not provided.
