Pattaya Tsao

Pattaya Tsao has a wealth of experience in the field of firmware engineering. Starting in 2004 as a Senior Firmware Manager at Mobile Devices, Inc., Tsao was responsible for managing 6+ firmware engineers, developing complete ARM based FW architecture for PHS/GSM/Wifi feature phones, designing FPGA/ASIC validation/verification plans, developing bootloaders and low level peripheral drivers, porting RTOS tasks, developing APIs as an Adaption Layer for MMI, and providing technical support and consultation for various teams. In 2010, Tsao moved to Synaptics Incorporated as a Senior Firmware Engineer. In 2016, Tsao became a Senior Firmware Manager at Cloudchip, and in 2019 Tsao moved to Kneron as a Senior Technical Manager.

Pattaya Tsao obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Science from National Chiao Tung University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University between 1994 and 1996.
