Zachary Yu

Zachary Yu has been working in the tech industry for over 15 years. Zachary began their career in 2005 as an intern at Himax, where they were tasked with wrapping a portable kernel interface and porting the middleware connecting GUI and proprietary firmware. In 2006, they were an intern at Realtek Semiconductor Corp., where they were assigned to adding SNMP features for a wireless access point. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MStar Semiconductor. Zachary then moved to MediaTek, where they worked as a Staff Engineer from 2013 to 2017 and as a Technical Manager from 2017 to 2020. Most recently, they have been a Senior Staff Engineer at Kneron since 2020.

Zachary Yu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Information Engineering Science from National Chung Cheng University between 1999 and 2005. Zachary then went on to obtain a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) in Embedded System from National Chiao Tung University between 2005 and 2007. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Exeter between 2015 and 2016.
