Nathan Ring

Nathan Ring has a strong background in finance and business development. Nathan has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Knife River Corporation since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Knife River Corporation from November 2017 to June 2023. Before joining Knife River Corporation, Nathan Ring worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Starion Bank from March 2016 to October 2017. Nathan also gained experience at MDU Resources Group, Inc. where they served as the Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer from January 2014 to February 2016. Earlier in their career, Nathan worked as the Controller and Treasurer at MDU Construction Services Group, Inc. from July 2012 to December 2013, and as a Controller at Knife River Corporation from March 2007 to June 2012.

Nathan Ring completed their Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota between 1994 and 1999.
